A Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter on an official mission on Monday crashed due to a technical fault at a location South of Bama, Borno State, the Director of Information, Nigeria Defence Headquarters, Maj. Gen. Chris Olukolade, said in a press statement in Abuja.

But some observers, however, reasoned that the helicopter could have been blown off by the insurgents who have already taken hold of over half of Borno State in the unrelenting offensive.
An officer, who spoke anonymously to journalists, before Olukolade’s press statement said, a surveillance jet was shot down by the insurgents around Bama in Borno State...

But it appears the Military authority is trying hard to play down the incident. In the statement by Olukolade, it was stated that “investigation has commenced to unravel the circumstances that led to the accident.”

He discounted the insinuation that the plane crashed as a result of insurgency attack, saying “it is established that the crash is not as a result of any enemy action.”

We are waiting for further details on the crash after investigation.

More details are coming out. The Defence Headquarters has disclosed that among the suspected Boko Haram men arrested on Sunday in Abia State is one of the most wanted terror kingpin. He and others were arrested by soldiers from the Asa Military Base, 14 Brigade, Ohafia Barracks, Abia State, on the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway in a long convoy.

The suspects, who claimed to be on their way to Port Harcourt in search of work were said to be moving in a convoy of 33 Hummer buses when they were intercepted by the soldiers between Arungwa Junction on the expressway and Imo Gate, the Abia State and Rivers State boundary.
Following their arrest, the security agents were said to have thoroughly screened the suspects, during which it was discovered that a Boko Haram terrorist who has been on the wanted list of security agencies was among them...

“So far, other security agencies, including the para-military, have joined the screening exercise to ascertain the status of the remaining suspects. Those identified as possible security risk or illegal immigrants are expected to be identified for further action.”
The identified terror kingpin has been taken into custody.

Her name is Penny Brown and she is 25yrs old, but her obsession is to get an hourglass figure that matches that of a voluptuous cartoon character. Crazy, right? Well, she's already had two breasts jobs, which took her to an H and then an O cup size.
Also, her waist shrunk from size 38 to 23. She accomplished this by wearing a rib crushing corset. The corset is so tight that Penny cannot eat a proper meal while wearing it. She had to turn her food into liquids so that she can swallow it because her stomach was so restricted. Bending, sitting and laying down was also a struggle. Driving is very uncomfortable and any form of exercise is totally off limits.
Funny enough, she is married and her husband said he loves her "unique" shape. See more photos...

Penny is preparing for her third breasts job and expects to double the size of what she has now. Nawao!

Building our hope in respect of what is befalling or had befallen to Nigeria. It is not far-fetched that since President Good-luck Jonathan was sworn in as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria there have been crisis here and there. But the most dreadful of all is the Boko Haram insurgency, whose leader was Yesuf. After he was killed in police custody in 2007, the sect was taken over by the current leader called Abubakar Shekau.

The threat facing us from the Northern part of Nigeria- Boko haram- was brought into existence by the politically chicanery of the northern political elites basically to denigrate the leadership of president Good-luck Jonathan after losing out in the contest to control the presidency of the federal republic of Nigeria. Their sponsors had boasted a long time ago that the un-governability of the Nigeria State as their target if the president succeeded in the 2011 presidential election.
What God has destined or ordained will be fulfilled forever. Boko Haram is stirred-up and instigated by some leaders nationally and internationally to make sure there is chaos, anarchy, misrepresentative of power and destruction of Nigeria, but thank God that everything will turn against them...

The prayer our fore-fathers used to pray is whatever you do to me; let it be the gift that will be given to you. The killing of innocent people, destruction of churches, schools and mosques is their trade-mark. By their fruits we shall know them. Then their gifts will not be different from their actions – they are terrorists!

The fact is very clear that Boko Haram is not Nigerian. Boko Haram kill to make money to over thrown the leadership of Nigeria and also help their sponsors to meet their selfish aim. Boko Haram depends on their god-fathers for action, and some of their god-fathers are not Nigerians. They go about given the President Jonathan bad-name in order for them to justify their actions. But thank God to our wise president, who has invited foreign authorities to unveil the truth. People where complaining why President Jonathan is asking for help from other countries that it is weakness.
The fact he is asking for help is not weakness, it is the demonstration of patriotic wisdom, rather than weakness. President Jonathan obtaining aids from other countries to combat Boko Haram shows that he has the will and the zeal and the belief that Nigeria must be moved forward in a true democratic style and not confrontational, violent and terroristic style of war on innocent Nigerians adopted by the Boko Haram insurgents. War, is a last resort when diplomacy and dialogue has failed.

What am I saying? I am saying we should use our discretion to choose the right leaders to follow, because this is not war between the Christian and Muslim, or Hausa, Igbo or any other tribe, this is a war against Nigeria, because the Northern part of Nigeria is Nigeria, so if they suffer, Nigeria suffers.

Little did Boko Haram know that their terrorism is uniting Nigerians against them:
* They have shown us that if we need to win; we must fight as one (unity). This uncalled for barbaric killings is not only suffered by the Christians, but also the Muslims.
* Boko Haram has brought to our knowledge that our international boundaries are porous. If we should build a concrete walls or mounted patriotic immigration guards, we can prevent any illegal migration into the country.

* Boko Haram gave Nigeria the notion that their ammunitions are of antique. They are telling Nigeria that their military need sophisticated weapons for war, and Nigeria should invest more on security (modernization).

* The event of the Chibok, the kidnapped girls by Boko Haram in Nigeria has created more international relationship and aids.

Boko Haram has become the problem of everyone in the whole world (bring back our girls) and has made Nigeria known or to be seen as one of the good, peaceful and blessed countries, which other myopic, heartless and money chasing people are trying topaint ugly in order to invade and exploit her.

It is somehow a good thing that Nigeria is facing Boko Haram, because after the storm comes calm, and at the darkest night comes the dawn. Boko Haram cannot be there forever! Their end will soon come. Boko Haram has hit the apex, Boko Haram has hit the climax, and Boko haram cannot go beyond this level of havoc they have caused to Nigeria. At least, Nigeria will soon breathe the invigorating air of unity. The unity that Nigeria sought for, the unity between the Muslim and Christian, the unity among different tribes and the knowledge that we can still stand as one of the greatest countries in West Africa.

I must commend Nigeria Minister of Finance Dr. Ngozi Nkonjo-Iweala for her well presentation on CNN (interview with CNN: May 2014) on how the Nigeria government is tackling the Chibok event and Boko Haram in Nigeria. She gave a better respond to the intricate questions thrown at her during the interview. She exhibited a true sense of patriotism, followership, and loyalty to the president of the federal republic of Nigeria – a patriot she is! I will want to use this as a point of contact to advise those that are throwing insult on the president that the president is so weak, so slow to actions. As long as today is concerned, Dr. Good-luck Ebele Jonathan is the president of the federal republic of Nigeria and he should be respected. You voted him and anyone that insults him insult Nigeria, anybody that insult Nigeria will be dealt with legally.

Let us call a spade a spade, even though the president is from PD Party, he has his own leadership qualities; just like some Nigerians from other parties as well. I am taking about how the governor of Lagos State His Excellency Govt. Babatunde Fasola of APC party brought about good management of the state resources and built Lagos to a winsome place where almost every person wants to reside. Besides, we also have governor of Akwa-Ibom state, a member of the PDP party. His Excellency Governor Goodwill Okpabio has done so well for AkwaIbom state, a place called Home – promise land. Notwithstanding, Ex-Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Peter Obi from APGA party had fished out all culprits, fraudsters, and all money ritual persons from the state and also made sure they were all brought to justice.
We should not forget about Jigawa State governor, His Excellency Governor Lamido; no matter how little the state resources was, he managed it to build a better state. All these better leadership happened irrespective of whatever party they belonged. It is because they have the people at heart – that is patriotism. So my fellow compatriots see to it that whatever religion you belong to, whatever person you are, or whatever region you come from – what matters is that you are a patriot. You are a true Nigerian, you are serving the country for the good of the country and betterment of the people, that’s make you a Nigerian. If you are not these, then you are not a Nigerian, you are a foreigner, an alien, and enemy to the country coming to destroy and disturb the togetherness of the country.

Leadership is not about being in position before doing something valuable for the people, rather leadership is being responsible and valuable to people around you irrespective of your position. So my people, I beg of you to use your discretion and decision and come out with something valuable for the betterment of all Nigerians, because the government cannot do all – help the Nigeria government to build formidable, undefeatable and winsome country called Nigeria now and forever – One Love!

The University Of Abuja has been shut indefinitely following a protest by students on the two campuses.
The institution was closed down on Monday by the University’s Governing Council while the students were ordered out of the hostels and campuses.
The university, which has been in existence for almost three decades, had been enmeshed in a series of crises, which had also impeded its growth.
It was gathered that an industrial action recently embarked upon by a faction of the Academic Staff Union of Universities in the university also contributed to the crisis in the institution.

Some of the students, who took part in the protest at the Gwagwalada mini- campus, said they were chased out of the campus and the school put under lock and key.
At the main campus, notices were placed on all notice boards in each department, ordering every student to leave the school immediately.
The notice, signed by the Registrar, Mohammed Modibbo, read, “I am directed to inform you that given the situation in the university, the Vice Chancellor has approved that the university be closed down until further notice.
“You are therefore directed to vacate the university until further development is communicated to you.”
As of the time of filing this report, some of the students were still packing their luggage and heading home.
The Director of Information Unit of the university, Waziri Garba, confirmed the closure of the school, saying it was shut down over the protest by the students, who were agitating for the conduct of their semester examination.
“The school was shut down because the students were demonstrating and demanding the conduct of examination, but examination is not something you demand through demonstration,” he stated.

Following , the Super Eagles Captain, Austin Jay Jay Okocha has blamed coach, Stephen Keshi for the team’s approach.

photo
Nigeria(Mikel Obi) vs Iran
Speaking as an analyst on Supersport after the match, Okocha said: “Keshi should be held responsible for the way the team played. Before the match he said African teams are tactically not disciplined and he did not bring anything new to the table.
“His changes were poor. He took out Moses and brought in Ameobi. I think that was a wrong change.
“We saw how Osaze came in and showed a lot of creativity. That is the kind of thing we expected. Iran match would have been our strongest point but we missed it.”
However, Coach Stephen Keshi on the other hand thinks his boys did well as he said that the Super Eagles did their best to defeat Iran.
Speaking moments after the match, Keshi said that: “I wanted victory in this match, in fact, I want to win all the matches but this is football, that even when you dominate a game, you still don’t get the result".
Meanwhile some fans of the super eagles who were not impressed with their performance during the match against Iran yesterday night took to twitter to share funny tweets.

Mark Tipped To Head ‘Transitional Government’" via Africa Confidential

UK-based influential publication, Africa Confidential, has tipped Nigeria’s Senate President David Mark to head a “transitional national government” as part of the secret plots currently going on in the Presidency.

In an analysis posted on its website on June 13, 2014, the publication said: “Should (President) Jonathan stumble, jump or be pushed, a groundswell is building for some form of transitional government to tackle both the security crisis and the flagging morale of the military.” It did not say where the “groundswell” was building ─ in the military or political class ─ but made references to “ominous rumblings in the military”.

An Aso Rock insider has dismissed the report as “absolute nonsense”. The publication described the “David Mark scenario” as one of the “messier options” before Nigeria, saying unnamed politicians “in Abuja think that Jonathan won’t win the PDP presidential nomination for next year’s elections, while others say he won’t even manage to hold on to power until the vote”.

It said political confidence in Jonathan’s government is declining in the face of the Boko Haram insurgency and described the senate president as taking a harder line against the militants “than his counterparts at the top of government”. “He is also, we hear, outraged by the current state of the armed forces, whose soldiers say they lack basic supplies and weaponry,” Africa Confidential wrote.

The publication was ambiguous on many issues ─ especially how a transitional government will legitimately emerge given the constitutional processes involved in democratic transfer of power in Nigeria. However, it hinted at a possible deadlock ahead of the 2015 presidential election, quoting “political insiders” as saying that “Jonathan won’t get the votes, state by state, to win the party’s presidential primaries but they don’t yet have a clear idea of who could”.

A senior presidency official, who declined to be named, described the report as “kite flying” and an attempt to sell “a warped agenda” to the international community. “The premises are faulty and the conclusion is absolute nonsense,” he told TheCable. “

"There is no space for transitional government in our constitution. Even if the president decides not to run, there are other members of the PDP who can run. The conclusion that Mark will head a transitional government is ridiculous.”

Africa Confidential prides itself as a specialist publication with “continent-wide, on-the-ground coverage” which enables it to identify and monitor upcoming issues “long before they are picked up by the general media and analyse their real significance for our readers”.

The first alleged move by the dreaded Boko Haram sect to penetrate Southern part of Nigeria was frustrated on Sunday as soldiers from the Asa Military Base of 14 Brigade, Ohafia Barracks, Abia State, arrested 486 suspected insurgents including eight girls.
The arrest was made same day bombs were uncovered and defused in a Winners Chapel church in Imo State. But the suspects claimed they were going to Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital in search of work.

They were arrested at about 2 am when their vehicles were intercepted by soldiers between Arungwa Junction on the Enugu-Port Harcourt Expressway and Imo Gate, the Abia State and Rivers State boundary.
They were said to be moving in a convoy of 35 Hummer buses when they were intercepted. However, two of the buses were said to have escaped arrest...

It seems these people may not even be connected in any way with the wicked Boko Haram sect.

Meanwhile, the Imo State Government has announced far reaching security measures, following the botched bomb attack targeted at the Living Faith Church, Winners Chapel, Owerri.

Announcing the eight-point measures in Owerri, after several hours of special security meeting with security chiefs and a cross section of Imo people, Governor Rochas Okorocha, said the government would summarily take over uncompleted buildings found to be hideouts for criminals.

“Uncompleted buildings in the cities in the state and environs without security guards, will be taken over by the government because criminals use them as hideouts”, Okorocha said.

The governor, who branded the security measure as “operation know your neighbour”, also ordered hotels in the state, to install security cameras and should on a daily basis, forward a list of all their guests to the Director of State Security Service.

“Trailers bringing food items from the North would no longer be allowed to come into the state at night but only during the day and the food items would be off-loaded at a designated place, off the state capital,” he said

*.Partners who sleep an inch or less apart are happier than those who don't *.Around 42% of couples sleep back to back while just 4% face each other *.Couples who sleep face to face while touching were the happiest Are you someone who likes to cuddle up against your partner at night? Or do you tend to wake on the other side of the bed, facing the wall? New research shows that the position in which we sleep is highly revealing about the strength of our relationships. The key is the distance between couples, according to a study of 1,100 people. Partners who sleep less than an inch apart are far more likely to be happy together than those maintaining a gap wider than 30 inches, the researchers found. The happiest couples: Partners who sleep face to face while touching were found to be 100% satisfied in their relationships Results: Couple who sleep while touching were found to be much happier than those who don't make any contact while sleeping And couples who spend the night making physical contact are happier than those who do not touch. The research, published today at the Edinburgh International Science Festival, expands on work by psychiatrist Samuel Dunkell. He found people who lie curled up in the ‘full foetal’ position are likely to be indecisive, anxious and sensitive to criticism. Those who sleep in a ‘semi-foetal’ position, with their knees drawn up, are conciliatory, amenable to compromise, and unlikely to take extreme stances, he said.People who sleep in the ‘royal’ position – flat on their back – tend to be confident, open, expansive, and sensation-seeking. And those who lie ‘prone’ on their face show a tendency for rigidity and perfectionism. The study found that 42 per cent of couples sleep back to back, 31 per cent face the same direction and just 4 per cent face one another. Around 34 per cent sleep touching and 12 per cent spend the night less than an inch apart, while 2 per cent are separated by more than 30 inches. Of those who fall asleep touching, couples tend to be happier if they are face-to-face than if they ‘spoon’ their partners, facing the same direction, or if they face in opposite directions.Of those who do not touch, the largest number of happy couples face the same direction – above those who sleep back to back or facing each other. University of Hertfordshire psychologist Professor Richard Wiseman, who led the study, said: ‘Ninety four per cent of couples who spent the night in contact with one another were happy with their relationship, compared to just 68 per cent of those that didn’t touch. ‘This is the first survey to examine couples’ sleeping positions, and the results allow people to gain an insight into someone’s personality and relationship.’ The study found 86 per cent of couples who slept less than an inch apart felt happy in their relationship, compared with 66 per cent of those who slept more than 30 inches apart. The latest results are part of Professor Wiseman’s wider research on sleep and dreaming. He is using Dr Dunkell’s ideas to examine the ways people relate to each other in their sleep. His initial findings suggest that people who sleep very close to their partners are more likely to be extroverts. He has written a book, Night School, about his work. Professor Wiseman said: ‘Thirty four per cent of people said they slept touching, but this rose to 45 per cent among

Kenya will deport 225 illegal immigrants from various countries arrested during the ongoing security crackdown, police have said.
412 others are set to be transferred to designated refugee camps while 313 have so far been arraigned in court, an update on the operation dubbed Usalama Watch indicated Wednesday.

Wednesday April 16, 2014 – A war has ensued between former President Mwai Kibaki’s second wife, Mary Wambui, of TNA and DP candidate, Peter King’ara, over who should use President Uhuru Kenyatta’s picture in the campaigns ahead of the Othaya Parliamentary by-election scheduled for 29th April.

Each of the two want to use President Kenyatta’s portrait in their campaign posters with Wambui accusing King’ara of erroneously using Uhuru Kenyatta’s picture  when he is not a member of TNA.

The war emerged after King’ara erected two billboards in Othaya Town with him being flanked by President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy, William Ruto, a move that has prompted TNA to write to the IEBC to take disciplinary measures against DP’s King’ara for flouting election laws.

However, reacting to the accusations, King’ara said he is free to use Uhuru Kenyatta’s picture the way he wants because he is the President of all Kenyans, not TNA.

Besides, King’ara said, he is only using President Kenyatta’s portrait because he supports his Government and does not need his help to win the by-election.
